Getting started

Create an item

Open Items and select Add item. Give every item a clear name and a unique SKU. Choose a unit such as each, box, case, pack, or pallet, then choose quantity tracking or a unique label for each box.

Import your catalog

Use Import CSV to load up to 500 items at a time. Your file needs Name and SKU columns. Optional columns include Category, Unit, Tracking, and Reorder point. Fix duplicate SKUs and import the remaining items in another file.

Invite the team

Open Settings and invite teammates by business email. Teammate receiving and shipping actions are recorded in the activity list. Only invite people who should have access to the workspace.

02

Receive inventory & labels

Receive by quantity

Choose Receive, select a quantity-tracked item, enter the quantity, and save. The on-hand count increases and an activity entry is added.

Receive labeled cartons

Set an item to Unique label for every box. Choose Receive, select it, and enter the number of cartons. crinventory creates a unique CRI barcode for each carton and opens those labels ready to print.

Print labels

Open the Labels area to review available carton labels and choose Print labels. The print layout is sized for 4 × 2 inch labels. In the print dialog, select the thermal printer, set the correct label stock and scale to 100%, and print one test label before a large batch.

Batch size

A receive action can add up to 5,000 cartons, but printing thousands of labels at once can overload a browser or printer queue. For large warehouse runs, receive and print smaller batches and confirm the first batch before continuing.

03

Ship, sell & scan

Scan a carton label

Open Ship / Scan and focus the barcode input. Scan the label; most USB or Bluetooth scanners type the code and send Enter automatically. crinventory marks the carton shipped and removes it from available labeled stock.

Prevent duplicate shipments

A carton label can be shipped once. If a code was already shipped or cannot be found in this workspace, the app rejects it without deducting another carton.

Ship quantity-tracked stock

In Ship / Scan, switch to Adjust quantity, select a quantity-tracked item, enter how many units left, and save. The app checks available stock before recording the change.

Find past changes

Open Activity to see receiving, shipping, adjustments, dates, items, references, and the team member who performed each recorded movement.

Account, billing & troubleshooting

Manage a subscription

The workspace owner can use Manage billing in the Billing area to open Stripe's customer portal for plan and cancellation options. If checkout or the portal is unavailable, contact support.

Scanner enters the wrong value

Confirm the scanner is in keyboard-wedge mode, click the scan field first, and check the scanner's suffix setting. Use the label's printed CRI code to test; do not scan an item from another business workspace.

Label alignment is off

Check that the printer uses 4 × 2 inch stock, disable Fit to page, set print scale to 100%, and choose the correct media type in the printer driver. Print a test before running a large batch.
